To follow up a recent tweet - Spread The Music Foundation is a not-for-profit organization based out of Grand Haven, MI, whose objective is to provide musical instruments across the nation to kids 18 & under entirely free of charge! (In the past 4 years, over 600 instruments have been distributed! Everything from band / orchestra instruments to drum kits and electric guitars!)Our primary annual fundraising event is "Harbor Island Music Festival", taking place this July.Local artists have helped the event to grow each year, but it's time to "take it to the next level".(As you know, increased ticket sales result in more $$$ that can go towards purchasing instruments for these kids...) Our hope is to locate performing artists originally from the state of Michigan who are able to give of their time / talent / $$$ to help us give the gift of music!For more information, please see www.spread-the-music.org
