The first time I heard this song I was on the phone(texting) with my first love. I told him to google it and listen to the lyrics. I was completely knocked off balance by what this song had to say. It sounds like it was really written for us. We met when I was 16 and he was 20. The first time I laid eyes on him it was dusk at the lake, he came riding down the hill on his motorcycle. :) He walked away from me before the end of the year. Out of my life. That was 1983. Thru the years there has been some attempt to locate him on my part and he has done the same. I recently found his sister on FaceBook, and she got me in contact with him. I thought It would be a "Hey How have you been?" kinda conversation. I was wrong. After the first initial contact, we have been almost inseparable, technology wise. We haven't seen or spoken since Oct/Nov. 1983. I checked my phone and to date there have been And from the way things are sounding and going we have spent a very long time slowly working our way back to each other. Our lives have paralleled it seems, and the attraction that pulls us closer to each other is getting stronger every day.
My point to writing is that while sitting and texting with him and listening to your song I felt as if my life had come full circle. We are planning to meet in 3 weeks. We are talking about getting back together, we have talked about a lot of things. If we talk marriage this will be the song that plays for us.
